Nova Atkinson

Owner

With over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry in both manufacturing and sales, Nova is a wealth of knowledge for all things custom healthcare. From her beginnings as a teenager manufacturing slings in the UK to launching Novacorr in 2009, Nova’s drive to assist those in need is second to none. A true people person, Nova’s dedication to her clients is what Novacorr have built their values around and continues to be the backbone of the business moving forward.

Keith Atkinson

Owner

A born problem solver, Keith has been a driving force behind product development and innovation at Novacorr. The mastermind behind our world renowned Huntingtons Bed and Chair, Keith’s drive to help those in need stems from his own experience with debilitating injury. A professional rugby player for 16 years, Keith’s experience with successive back fractures in the 88 and 89 season gives him a unique insight into the struggles that a lot of our clients face on a daily basis.

Sally-Anne Knight

Sales Manager

Daughter of Keith and Nova, Sally is one of the founding members of Novacorr and heads up the sales team. Sally’s passion for building meaningful long term relationships has been pivotal in creating a great network. Whether its Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists or direct to families, our clients rely on Sally’s extensive knowledge and genuine care to ensure they get the right result. An avid traveller, Sally also works tirelessly to continue to develop the brand overseas and when she is lucky, she gets to take her husband Marcus and Daughter Lily along for the Adventure!

Marcus Knight

Production Manager

Continuing the Novacorr Family tradition, Marcus (Sally-Anne’s Husband) heads up the design, production and R&D teams at Novacorr. Marcus plays a key role within the business as the conduit between the sales team and the client. Marcus thrives on being able to turn each clients individual requirements into fully functioning, purpose built equipment designed to improve quality of life. Marcus’ attention to detail and deep understanding of industry standards also make him an invaluable resource for our service and repairs department. Meet the Novacorr Family. Keith Atkinson Owner keith@novacorr.com.au Keith has played a huge role in taking Novacorr to the levels it’s achieved today. Having been an advocate for anyone with a disability he also played a leading role in the development of our Huntington’s and Bariatric products. Keith has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and although he’s taken a back seat from his business, he continues to fight the good fight for himself and our clients. She actively oversees all activities across our business and insists on personally testing everything we build. Sally-Anne Knight & Josh Atkinson Siblings Siblings Sally and Joshua are keen to follow in their parents’ footsteps and maintain Novacorr’s high standards! During their careers at Novacorr both have been extensively involved in all areas of the business. Currently, Sally leads our sales force by example whilst Joshua looks after our clients from Brisbane all the way to south Gold Coast & Tweed. Joshua Atkinson Healthcare Consultant joshua@novacorr.com.au Joshua is in his second spell at Novacorr having taken a couple of years away from the business to support his Police Officer wife and their young family. Joshua has worked in both manufacturing and Novacorr’s R&D program and has an extended knowledge of all our products which he now uses to help assist our clients in his role as Healthcare Consultant. Paul Smith R&D / Field Service Manager paul@novacorr.com.au Paul has been with Novacorr for the long term and knows each of our products and their development in ultimate detail. He works alongside David to improve our product as well as with Stacie to ensure our products perform reliably throughout the life. She will coordinate our field technicians and the factory to achieve any product tuning or attention to any aspect of concern or simply for a regular service schedule to ensure the longevity and performance of our products. Ben Wilson Healthcare Consultant ben@novacorr.com.au Ben is our quiet achiever; he will spend the time to demonstrate our products in the showroom or your home and listen… that will enable him to with your health professional or occupational therapist to carefully measure and record the precise details of your requirements be it for a bed or chair or both. He is an accredited natural care practitioner in his own right so he understands your situation and will ensure that we do too! Leanne Wheatley Sales Support leanne@novacorr.com.au Leanne is our little pocket dynamo, always a smile and without fail a desire to assist with information, book a trial or arrange a quotation. She will answer all questions or research solution to ensure our best efforts to exceed your expectation. Zoe Jeffries Planning and Procurement Specialist orders@novacorr.com.au Zoe is tasked to convert each product “prescription” into a complete manufacturing plan. Once all details are completed and confirmed correct, Zoe will coordinate the purchase of all bought in components to meet the production schedule. She is pivotal to our custom build process. Michelle Grant Administration Assistant admin@novacorr.com.au So much more than a Receptionist, Michelle will be your first contact and will direct you to the most appropriate person to assist your needs. She is also a competent trouble shooter and will likely call you to coordinate product deliveries and installations. Factory Team Our factory team encompasses a diverse group of capable folks who enjoy their work and take customer commitment very seriously. From metal fabrications, welders, woodworkers, to upholsterers, assemblers and delivery; we aim to be exceptional to one another; to the health professions and customers with whom we have such strong relationships; and finally, to the Healthcare Industry as a whole, we strive to uphold or surpass the highest standards. We will continue to strive to put ourselves in the position of our customers to fully appreciate their needs and set the expectation of our own performance.

We see ourselves as problem solvers and work with Occupational and Physiotherapists on a daily basis. Working with spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, and bariatric clients and have developed products for people with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, Muscular Dystrophy and Motor Neuron Disease. Novacorr Healthcare’s passion to help has benefited our growing list of clients. Novacorr Healthcare also build luxury in home health beds and chairs for clients with conditions such as back pain, hip and knee problems, reflux, sleep apnea and breathing conditions such as asthma. We have a policy of one size does not fit everyone; therefore we build the bed to fit you and your surroundings.  We offer an in-home and video trial services where products can be tested and scripted to suit your needs.
